President Obama is without a doubt the funniest president in history . So when the White House Correspondents’ Dinner — the venue where the president is allowed to actually crack jokes — rolls around every year, we know we’re in for a show.

Taylor Swift Gets Dissed By The President

This year’s event on April 27 did not disappoint, as President Obama was at his funniest. During his opening speech, he somehow managed to work Taylor Swift into a joke about the sequester: “Republicans fell in love with it,” he said. “Now they can’t stop talking about how much they hate it. It’s like we’re trapped in a Taylor Swift album.”

Boom!

Obama isn’t the first person to publicly diss Taylor (Amy Poehler and Tina Fey perfected the art while hosting the Golden Globes), but he may be the best at it. That line is comedy gold. And there’s no telling how Taylor is going to take it. Is it considered treason if you write a revenge song about the president?

President Obama Disses Jay-Z & Many More

It might make Taylor feel a little bit better to know that she wasn’t the president’s only target. Barack took on Jay-Z and his trip to Cuba, joking, “I’ve got 99 problems, and now Jay-Z’s one.”

He also threw some punches at the media, CNN in particular: “I admire their commitment to covering all sides of the story, just in case one of them happens to be accurate,” he said.

When Barack’s second term is up, at least he knows he can fall back on his standup career. What do you think of his disses?
