Ladies, say hello to Omar Borkan Al Gala. Or just make whatever sound you can after being completely overwhelmed by his handsomeness (which we show in all its glory in the photos above). The Dubai-based actor, photographer and poet (SWOON!) was one of the three men who were deported from Saudi Arabia because authorities deemed them “too handsome” and worried that women would lose their minds, tear their clothing off and throw themselves at their feet. We’re considering it anyway, especially after reading Al Gala’s Facebook page, which is full of “When Harry Met Sally” quotes and posts like “If you need to be happy, I’ll be your smile. But anytime you need a friend, I’ll just be me.” Can anyone get this guy deported to our apartment?

Meet Omar Borkan Al Gala, the hunk from UAE deported from Saudi Arabia because officers of the country’s morality police, fearing for the safety of their women, thought he was too handsome to be allowed to stay.

According to Jezebel, Omar Borkan Al Gala, a Dubai-based actor, photographer and poet, was one of three men from the UAE attending the Jenadriyah Heritage and Cultural Festival in Riyadh as delegates. Digital Journal reported that he and his colleagues were kicked out Saudi Arabia because they was just too handsome to be allowed to stay and expose modest Saudi Arabian women to unaccustomed carnal temptations. News that some UAE men were kicked out of the conservative Sunni kingdom out of fear of exposing women to spiritual dangers of carnal lust first appeared in the Arabic newspaper Elaph. According to Elaph: “A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission members feared female visitors could fall for them.” Both Elaph and Sky Dancing Blog reported that Al Gala was at the UAE’s pavilion at the Riyad festival when an incident involving a well known UAE female singer, Aryam, led to the feared religious morality police, the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, storming the UAE pavilion and unceremoniously bundling him and his colleagues out of the festival and out of the kingdom entirely! Sky Dancing Blog confirmed Aryam went to the UAE pavilion but the artiste explained she visited the pavilion as a delegate of the UAE. According to Sky Dancing Blog, Aryam said she was invited by the Abu Dhabi Culture and Tourism Authority.

Arabic newspapers quoted the 33-year-old Dubai-based artiste of Egyptian origin, whose real name is Reem Shaaban Hassan, saying: “I went to the UAE stand as a delegate and congratulated them on their folklore… I stayed there for 20 seconds and had no intention to sing… I strongly respect the traditions of Saudi Arabia and all Gulf states and I consider myself a Saudi woman.”

A spokesman or the UAE delegation, Saeed Al Kaabi, confirmed the incident in a statement: “Her visit to the UAE stand was a coincidence as it was not included in the programme which we had already provided to the festival’s management.” And of course, the Western media became curious about the identity of mortal men who were so handsome that an entire nation’s law enforcement could not tolerate their presence out of sheer jealousy for their women.

Images of him can be found at Omar Borkan Al Gala they do show how dangerously handsome he is. Note those seductively dreamy eyes, well-groomed beard, perfect cheekbones… aaawwww! And judging from his photos, we reckon that those religious morality goons knew exactly what they were doing. Girls from the US to China are swooning over this guy’s photos going viral online. And he seems very modest (LOL!!) about his killer looks judging from the plethora of glossy photos of him being distributed online. He even posted a link to a news report about him on his Facebook page with a comment suffused with unfathomable poetic wisdom (swoon!): “The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.” While you work to decipher the meaning of this profoundly wise utterance, reports say investigations are ongoing to identify his other two companions. According to The Week, his Facebook and Twitter accounts are already flooded by invitations from foreign women who are promising that their country will not deport him. Jezebel reports there were rumors that Saudi Arabia was considering imposing sanctions on UAE for violating the strict rule that prohibits Saudi women from interacting with unrelated men, especially unrelated men like Omar Borkan Al Gala.
