We recently caught up with C-Max whose career we have followed for quite a number of years during a break from his tour schedule at his home in Lagos, amidst jovial conversation we grabbed a 5 minute informal chat and here is what he had to say.

 

Who Are You And  Where Are You Based?

I am an R&B artiste signed to A.F.E (Afam Fiasco Entertainment) a Canadian based Nigerian Record Company. C-max is based in Lagos city Nigeria.

What  Do You Do, How Would You Describe Your Presence In The Industry, Whats Your Mission?

I am a singer that makes beautiful music, sound tracks, jingles, voice over!
I would say my presence in the music industry is to salvage the industry in a time where real music isn’t made available that much,
My mission is to spark that curiosity that will drive the industry back to it roots where true musicians will take their place in the main stream music.

How Long Have You Been Doing This?

I have been singing for the better part of my life but went pro about 13years ago

Notable Moments In Your Career?

What’s The Best And Worst Part Of What You Do?

The best part of what I do, me been paid to have fun (singing) is awesome.

The worst is that it is really consuming.

I am a single man, I read business management, am from Enugu state but I was born in Lagos..

Where Do You See Yourself In 10 Years?

I see me being a pillar in the Nigerian music industry and building people to make some thing great out of them selves.

I love to hang out with my friends, I love to watch tv and I enjoy going out.

What Advice Do You Have For Others Inspired By You?

First discover what you are capable of then grow it, forget about money first, develop ur skills then watch all doors open up for you.
