I had the good pleasure of spending some time with SKB Comedian in Benin City, Nigeria recently and it was a great experience, here is what he had to say.

Who are you and where in the world are you primarily based and where are you located right now?

 

Kinglet Bekewei Macualey my full names aka Mc Skb Comedian aka BaptistBoi aka Amazing Grace, the Warri Ogagagariorn_metefureh_metefureh_kpokpogarrinode of wobijere? ehh!!!
Based in Edo State Nigeria.
Currently in the GRA (Government Rejected Area) of Benin City.

What do you do, how would you describe your presence in the industry, what’s your mission?

I’m an Actor, Compere, Comedian and entertainer
I’m a young up and coming up quick Gospel act whose presence has been felt recently through some gospel concerts,events,birthday parties,burial ceremonies but am yet to start so i would say just keep calm and watch out for i am coming but a sand storm to haters if there’s any sef “gbabo shii”
My me son (mission) is to bring smiles and laughter to poeple around the world via my GOD given innovative ideas and thoughts and to have good footprints in the sand of time.

How long have you been doing this?

Hmmmm.. E don tey wey me start dey fool myself ooh ‘snapping_fingers-demonstrating’
But profoundly sorry Professionally (no vex i no go school when dem teach Professionally joooooor) not quite long it all started when i joined the drama unit of my church as an actor back 2010 mimicking Clint_d_drunk,Spongebob,Basket Mouth,I go dye,Ay,Julius d Genius Agwu,Rock,Jim_Carry I call him Jim Carrygo,Chris_Talker,John_Oka4 aka Mr mumu sowie so sorry ooh Mr Ibu i meant. So many, though few I’ve mentioned.

 

Notable moments in your career?

When I was Awarded most innovative 2010
Best actor of the year award in 2010 and
Best comedian awards 2011/2012 (by: Baptist Student Fellowship) and winning some local competitions as well-earned.

What’s the best and worst part of what you do?

I get to meet and recon with great people like Adams Oshiomole Governor of Edo State, Ibori,Alamieyeseigha,Fashola,GEJ and even travel abroad not Niger only ooh. I get to make GOD’S people,myself happy and even make money hehehehehe no wonder happy is involved!!

Everything about entertaining is sweet and fun: Just like when i say a joke and nobody laughs, hehehehehe, that’s funny because I expected a laugh. So i would say it’s all fun and challenging though but it all depend on the individual and the response you let. ooossheeeyyyyy!!!

A little about you?

Please before i tell you about myself promise me you won’t laugh oooo..okay We were ten children in my family HA_MA_TAN killed 8 my dad played coupon with 1 and won a bathroom_slippers!!! remaining me hehehehehe. #la_joke ooh even if e no fun ni.
I’m me ooh funny serious minded sometimes. I don’t smoke, ha don’t drink. I’ve Five and a half pack, I love looking good and different, I love corporate outfits and I’m 5ft9inch tall. April 14th born in the early 90′s

Where do you see yourself in 10 years

That GOD can tell so expect to see me sailing moderately and steadily as GOD Leads me through AMEN!!!

 

What do you do for relaxing/fun/chilling out?

I read,read, read, read and read and read online/offline Articles,News or I go for a swim, Play PS soccer. I eat or Dream about my feature and I think and that makes me feel relaxed.

 

What advice do you have for others inspired by you?

Do all I’ve said not nor all I do because I’m not OGA AT THE TOP, you are you not me, your mum or your dad, and, we could be sometimes wrong in our doings Yes we’re humans and learn to forgive and Worship GOD only for he is willing to make you a greater person.

Message for your fans, haters,critics

Ha fans abi my family people? They should expect more Innovative and Creative works from moi by God’s Grace. GOD bless you guys are the best ever!!!
Haters i really don’t know you oooo but repent for the kingdom of oga at the top is at hand hehehehe!!
Critics ooh i enzoy your compliments as i regard them to be. So enjoy cuz Baba GOD wey dey Blessh me no dey slip!
