As premiered on popular blogs such as “Can’t Stop HipHop.com” Reel 2 Real Records own Jayryde & Sleep keep it in the family and come together for their newstreet influenced track, DRUGS. The Iceberg produced cut can be played in the hood, whip, club or anywhere else you can catch the beat to the point it’s almost as addicting as the title suggests.The duo from St. Louis work well together and if this is any indication of what we can expect moving forward, you’re sure to be hearing a lot more from them. Both are releasing new projects where this one will be featured with Jay’s “THE PHENOM 3” and Sleep’s “Don’t Sleep On Sleep Vol. 2” coming sooner than later. Look out for those!

Jayryde is an underground rap artist from St. Louis,MO. Jayryde’s music reflects the hard gritty street life that is a everyday struggle for many young men and women across america. Jayryde has been writing music since he was a teenager,music was the only outlet that kept Jayryde distracted from the fact that most young black men don’t make it out of the streets in St.Louis.  Originally part of his locally popular group “Street Team” Jayryde has branched off to brand his own name while still staying true to his peers. Jayryde has just completed his mixtape “THE PHENOM 3″ The third installment in the phenom mixtape series. On this song “Drugs” Jayryde collaborates with his label mate Lil Sleep da King.  

Sleep was born in Louisiana and raised in St.Louis ,MO. Sleep’s music is heavily influenced by the street life and molded by the sounds of today’s hip hop music.Sleep has been grinding on the music scene for a few years now and has put together a new collection of songs that he is sure to keep the streets buzzing. Sleep is preparing to release his new project “Don’t Sleep On Sleep Vol.2″ really soon!
