MTN Nigeria Gets N90 Million Fine For Poor Service

The Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) has imposed a N90 million fine on one of the major telecommunication provider, MTN for poor service delivery in the month of December last year.

Mr Tony Ojobo, the Director Public Affairs of the commission, disclosed this to newsmen on Friday in Abuja, while announcing the postponement of planned takeoff of mobile number portability.

According to Ojobo, during the drive test conducted round the country in December by NCC, the network provider failed to meet the standard Key Performance Indices (KPI) set for service providers by the commission.
