FIFA 15 Takes United Kingdom Number One from Destiny – #Fifa15

The football title has only been on sale for one day

FIFA 15, the new football simulation from developer EA Sports, is the new number one video game in the United Kingdom in terms of retail sales for the week that ended on September 27, despite the fact that the title had only been on sale at that point for one full day.

The new title in the classic series from Electronic Arts was delivered on September 23 in North America and on September 25 in Europe, but UK gamers had to wait for one more day before they were able to pick up their copies.
FIFA 15 will probably lead the chart for a while, and if it manages to replicate the performance of its predecessor, it will continue to be present in the United Kingdom top ten in 2016.
Second place in the top ten belongs to Destiny, which previously occupied the first place, according to UKIE, and the game might deliver more big sales once more updates are launched or when Bungie launches the new The Dark Below downloadable content for the title before the end of the year.
The last place on the podium belongs to Disney Infinity 2.0, the new version of the mix between video games and toys which at the moment allows gamers to get access to heroes from both The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy.

The rest of the United Kingdom top ten

The Xbox 360 version of Minecraft, the indie hit that at the moment belongs to platform holder Microsoft, is in fourth place, managing to gain two positions from sixth during the previous week, and is followed by Call of Duty: Ghosts, which has also managed to boost its performance for the current week.
Sixth place belongs to Watch Dogs, the title created by Ubisoft that has just received the first piece of DLC, called Bad Blood.
In seventh gamers will find The Sims 4, the life simulation title from developer Maxis and publisher Electronic Arts, which has dropped two places and is followed by the other new entry in the UK top ten, Fantasy Life from Nintendo.
The PlayStation 3 edition of Minecraft is in ninth and the chart is closed down by Plants versus Zombies: Garden Warfare from Electronic Arts.
Despite having a very good launch week, Hyrule Warriors, which blends The Legend of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors, is now in 13th place and The Last of Us: Remastered for the PlayStation 4 is also out of the top ten.
