Days after signing a multimillion Naira ambassador endorsement deal with Samsung West Africa, Banky W held his Grand Love Project Album launch concert – R&BW at the Civic Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria on Friday 22nd February at a plush red carpet evening event.

Co Hosted by IK, Seyi Law & Freeze with Performances from K9, Iyanya, Chidinma, Bez, Black Magic, Praiz, Shaydee, Lynxxx (with Banky W), Niyola (with Banky W), Bez, Waje, Sound Sultan and Skales and a special appearance by Blackky  the event had a huge turnout and was a joyous event.

Taking on a somber mode during the event, Banky W and co hosts held a momentary silence to remember Goldie Harvey, Afropop starlet who passed away suddenly on Valentines day.
With Samsung describing Mr Wellington as an individual who has the prowess and posesses the values Samsung stands for including his quality, depth of work and versatility as a Nigerian artiste this is a good time in his career as he soars further in success in the Afrobeat/Afropop industry.

Joining Nollywood star, Kate Henshaw who will be the face of Samsung Electronics West Africa mobile division. Banky has also been signed on to endorsement deals with brands including telecommunications company Etisalat and The CocaCola bottling company.
