Nicolas Georgakis is a DJ,producer and an Afrobeat artist who performs as Niki Tall, he was born on September 21,1990 in Germany, where he was raised by his Greek father and German mother. He is also known as “Oyinbo boy” which is a Nigerian slang used to describe a white or light skinned person, this name was given to him when he was just starting his career as an artist.

Niki Tall has become a force to be reckoned, an Afrobeat lover and among the few white artist to successfully break into the Afrobeat community.

Over the last decade, Niki tall has been under the spotlight starting from his 2008 cover of the popular song “Gongo Aso” by a Nigerian artist 9ice,which he performed a unique acoustic guitar version of the song.
This performance kick-start his career with more than 178.000 views on YouTube.

Apart from being a regular booked DJ in Germany, Niki Tall has been the live opening act for well known Afrobeat artists and has shared the stage with artists such as J Martins, Flavour, Nabania, Bracket, Kcee, Iyanya, Timaya, Mc Galaxy, Fuse ODG, Spice vision, Mc Loph, Ducan Mighty and Wande Coal.

His unique and energetic live performance has been requested by many, he has performed throughout the country as well as in England, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Luxembourg, Belgium and with his personal highlights 2011 in Canada, Vancouver and 2012 in Russia, Moscow.

He did not stop there he was just getting warmed up. In 2014 and early 2015 following the successes of the cover for DJ Arafat songs, he released four more videos, covering the songs of international Nigerian artists: Double Wahala by Oritse Femi, Woju by Kiss Daniel, Ojuelegba by Wizkid and Collabo by P-Square and Don Jazzy. In these videos he mastered the Yoruba and Pidgin English lyrics of the songs, both languages which were new to him. He continued by exhibiting his talent of playing multiple instruments and incorporating instruments such as: drums, guitar, piano and bass into his covers and also adding his own lyrics to the songs, to give his listeners a little introduction to his style.

All this preliminary work he used to build his fan base in which he can release his own songs later. Because it all started in 2008 with a dream to be an individual artist, producer in the Afrobeat market is finally becoming a reality.

At least I want to thank everyone who took his time to read it to the end. I appreciate it from all of my heart, because an artist is nothing without his Fans and a Dream is nothing without people who believe in it. With God this is moving forward.
