Yoruba actress turned serial thief, Yetunde Akilapa, was caught red handed on Sunday, January 13th at No 15 Ibitayo street in the Magodo Phase 2 area of Lagos State for breaking into an apartment, just a year after she was caught with bunch of master keys and arrested by the police in Lagos.

The latest update on her shameful act is that the actress who is currently trending on the social media has been expelled from the Yoruba movie industry by the leadership of Odunfa Caucus, a group which she belonged due to her continuous involvement in dirty criminal acts.

Her family members have bailed her from police detention as the aggrieved people refused to press charges.

After she was granted bail last year, Yetunde claimed some people in the movie industry set her up but it seems there is more to her case as people are beginning to say she may be suffering from spiritual attack.

Yetunde’s legal counsel denies the latest gist or rumour that she had been banned from acting by the Yoruba movie industry caucus;

SHE IS NOT BANNED OR SUSPENDED:

We write to expressly correct the impression that Yetunde Akilapa has been suspended or banned. She has not received any verbal or writing notice to dat effect.

Yetunde is very SORRY & remorseful that her name is involved in such things. She has very much regard for the industry & Odunfa Caucus, more reason she fights hard to always clear her name. It’s ridiculous to suggest she will be expelled when it is abundantly clear that she was cleared of any wrong doing, needs physical, emotional & spiritual help. There is no dignity fighting someone on the floor.

We also like to correct the following impression:

* Yetunde was never in Kirikiri during the 1st case. The matter was charged to court & bail application was granted and condition met same day which the media are aware. The case lasted 3 months and she attend court from home not from remanded custody.

* There was nothing like master key & on no account did the Police say the keys found on her was compared to any key holes of rooms in the houses & it opened. Why are journalist feeding people with stories so untrue? It was her house keys, just four pieces.

* On this 2nd case, whoever broke the news lied, Yetunde was not accused of stealing. She was suspected to may have been sent to drop some fetish substance. Must lies sell stories?

* The case got a twist when in an effort to prove her innocence of diabolical intention she confidently states she is a budding actress. One of the guys google her name, found the previous story, hit her in a swift reaction, hence she fainted. The guy had since apologized.

* It was on this note the Police were informed & d matter was settled & it was made abundantly cleared her accusers are not always at fault. One thing must lead to the other & until it dawned on her after public accusation she begins to realise she is in the wrong place.
