What  Do You Do, How Would You Describe Your Presence In The Industry, Whats Your Mission?

I am a reggae artist, song writer, poet, actor and writer. As far as the industry is concerned I believe I am unique in my own way. I love to approach whatever I do from a militant point of view. I believe the world is a battle field and every man is a soldier. My mission is to use my music, my books, poetry and movies to speak to the governments and to bring hope to the people and also to praise God

How Long Have You Been Doing This?

I’ve been in the music industry since 1985. Started out with my brothers as one of the first family reggae groups, called the Rasta officers. I was the song writer and lead singer.

Notable Moments In Your Career?

What’s The Best And Worst Part Of What You Do?

The best part in what I do is that there is no feeling like doing what you love to do. That is what they call job satisfaction. The worst part is that it’s capital intensive and takes someone with real money to believe in you. so it’s not about how good you are. Sports for the most part is about how good you are. If you can outrun every other person or can knock every other boxer out, there’s little anyone can do to stop you. My world, unfortunately is different. If you sing crap and have tons of money to promote it, you can make a hit. If you don’t have the money for promotion you can die with your talent.

A Little About You?

I am born into a family of 5 guys and 2 girls. My father is a retired army officer and I’ve known military all my life (why I’m obsessed with the military) and I believe in revolution.

Where Do You See Yourself In 10 Years?

If it be the will of God, in 10 years I hope to have actualized all my dreams.

What Do You Do For Fun, Relaxing or Chilling Out?

I love to exercise myself and I love to write, stories, music, poetry and movie scripts. I love to sit alone and muse. I love to sit in the movie theater alone and watch a movie, mostly war movies.

What Advice Do You Have For Others Inspired By You?

My advice to all is that the road to success is very rough and sometimes very long. You have to be a die hard and able to deal with all the frustrations that come with it.Believe in yourself and don’t worry about friends and family who will try to discourage you.Make sure you are good at what you do.
