#FELA Dede Mabiaku scolded a contestant at a talent show audition sponsored by a Telecoms giant few years ago for imitating FELA in his “underpants”.

Dede Mabiaku immediately put the contestant in order. I can remember he was very furious and angry stating; “Fela NEVER performed in his underpants. He was always dressed-down”.

Burna Boy’s Father was Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s former Manager. Now the question is; Is Burna Boy trying to tell us otherwise with his performance or just got carried away or never knew who FELA really was? Was Dede Mabiakwu at the Burna Boy’s performance?

If Dede was furious as at a mere audition for a talent hunt we out here wonder what he would have done to Burna Boy.

Nigerian singer Burna Boy thrilled his audience at the New Afrika Shrine in Lagos early morning Monday, Oct. 21, when he performed in his underwear in a controversial manner to honour the late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. It was the close of “Felabration,” an annual event paying homage to the Nigerian-born singer, afrobeat legend Fela who died in 1997. 

The main question/mystery remains: Had the “Abami Eda” ever performed on stage in his underpants anywhere in the world?
