Niyola is no doubt a veteran who had been in the music industry since the late 90′s. She is no doubt one of the brightest female vocalists in Nigeria and always had been having worked with Nigeria’s veteran rapper Ruggedman on a classic; If i could do it all in 2004. She had also featured in so many songs in early 2000.

Niyola had also been nominated for quite a number of awards before she went underground only to resurface with Nigeria’s BankyW who had won some awards in song writing one of which is the John Lennon awards.

Banky W will be remembered for scribbling the hit song Ebutte Metta on a tissue in Canada and just seconds after was on stage to perform in Canada. The song later became an anthem………

BankyW is no doubt one of the most successful artist, song writer  in present day Nigeria,  the boss of E.M.E and with Niyola and co its been fun and loads of hits since she was signed on the label to join the likes of Skales, Wizkid.

First lady of EME, Niyola just concluded the video shoot of her single; Toh Bad which was released sometime this year, May to be precise. The video shoot went on in New York, United States. The video was directed by Kemi Adetiba and Niyola is expected to release new singles next month.

Described as a classic love song, it is no surprise that fans clamored loudly for a visual to TOH BAD and their wishes have been granted. The video was shot on location in New York and directed by prolific Cinematographer; Kemi Adetiba who was responsible for Bez’s Stay. The video for TOH BAD is currently in post-production and will be released in a couple of weeks. This will be Niyola’s second video on the Banky W/Segun Demuren owned Empire Mates Entertainment which is also home to Wizkid, Skales, Shaydee and DJ Xclusive.
