konknaijaboy | On 03, Nov 2015
Trust you well, the last few weeks we have travelled across the UK bringing joy and life to many schools. Want to say big thank you to all over 47 schools we have visited this year!
We ran African Music workshop with African drumming in some school, as well as the Traditional Gospel Music singing and performances. We still have spaces available from 5th November 2015 until 2016. It important to celebrate culture, even if you are a school with low or non ethnic minority, learning something new and this experience is one that would stay with the kids for life.
This is what Charlie H and Harry B in Year 5 from Goostrey Primary School thought about the day.
“This was the best day of the school year!”
“Today 3 gospel singers spent the whole day at the school. They gave us an assembly as well as individual class lessons. The School Choir also had 1/2 of an hour with them. Finally they had a big concert to round the day off!!”
“We would love to see the gospel singers again. We all love to hear music and songs from other cultures”.
