In an effort to put R&B back in the forefront, Ian Von, an R&B artist forging his way as a solo artist, songwriter and musician, has combined his soulful R&B sound and to attract the ears of new listeners with his latest single “New Music”, produced by Veit Renn and Jolyon Skinner, off his album “Love Songs, Beats & Guitars”. Ian is on a music venture, uniting R&B, soul, pop, alternative sounds and acoustic rhythms to create a worthy equilibrium.

About Ian Von:

Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Ian grew up with deep roots firmly planted in the church, where he cultivated his skills as a singer and musician. Trained by legendary gospel great, Betty Nelson, mentor of the mighty Kim Burrell, Ian also performed alongside his family members, including his cousin gospel recording-artist, Micah Stampley. Raised in an urban culture, Ian is greatly influenced by the vocal artistry of Brian McKnight, the harmonies of Boyz II Men, and the street poetry of Nas.

While he was a part of a R&B boy group in high school, Ian has performed on tours with Destiny’s Child, Montel Jordan, Joe and Brian Mcknight, all while becoming a regional indie phenom alongside his group members. During this time, the group sold 12,000 albums independently, and was featured on television platforms, MTV and VH1. Currently, working under his independent record label, Table Spoon Music, Ian has already released his debut album “Good News” and is following it with his sophomore album, “Love Songs, Beats & Guitars.”
