This is introducing the first of its kind contest – The Etisalat Geek Force Internship Contest!

The contest is for innovative and technologically savvy individuals who are interested in a frontline position in Etisalat. 

It will be driven primarily through digital media for a duration of 10 weeks, and will provide a platform for engaging subscribers across our social media channels.

The Geek Force Internship is based on a social media reality show model. To participate, contestants will be required to apply online at

www.etisalat.com.ng/geekforceinternship 

and submit a 2-3 minutes video to showcase how ‘geeky’ they are. 

Based on the shortlisting process, 30 videos will be selected and uploaded for online voting. The top 20 videos will be selected based on video ‘likes’ and contestants will be interviewed by a selected panel of witty, fun and unassuming judges.

The judges will be expected to select the final 10 participants of the contest.

For 6 weeks, the shortlisted contestants will work in 5 Commercial Divisions and will be given a variety of tasks and tests which will  be judged by set criteria and SMS voting.

The 5 finalists after the 6 weeks duration will become the 5 winners of the one year Geek Force Internship at Etisalat.

During the 6 week period, the 10 contestants will be given:  

∙         Fully furnished accommodation.∙         Transportation to and from work.
∙         Opportunities to work in 5 different Divisions.
∙         Weekly stipend.
∙         Opportunities to win choice smartphones and tablets in weekly challenges.
