The Sodimu Family finally releases pictures of the burial of Ken Kayode Sodimu.
On April 20, 2013 Seyi Sodimu’s ( the love me Jeje crooner ) elder brother Ken Kayode Sodimu was laid to rest in Maryland USA.
The deceased died on the 8th of April 2013 at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore MD.
Ken Kayode Sodimu, the late Washington DC Metro Cop and Homeland security protocol officer was given an official state burial by the Washington DC metropolitan Police Department.
The Washington DC Metro Area was at a standstill as both Nigerians and Americans in Washington DC, The Washington Police Department and his Bikers group “East Coast Busas” were in attendance.
The funeral was held at the Redeemed Christian Church Victory Temple in Bowie Maryland. The church however was packed with Nigerians and Americans alike who came to pay tribute to the Washington DC Metropolitan Officer and Homeland Security Protocol Officer.
No Nigerian has ever been given such an honourable and an elaborate state funeral by the American Government. May his soul rest in peace. He is survived by a wife, 3 kids, mother and father as well as brothers and sisters. He was a positive role model and a good ambassador for Nigerians in diaspora. He will be truly missed.
