“Olamide would only feature on songs if he is paid a fee of N1m” his manager reveals

| On 17, Aug 2013

Olamide Adedeji has steadily risen to the list of top ranking Hip-hop artistes in the country.

Following his sudden rise as one of the hottest and most sought after Hip-Hop artistes in Nigeria,  Olamide has resulted to charging pretty high feature/cameo fees.

NET reports thus:

“When NET placed a call to his manager, a certain Rachael,  told our reporter that although the rapper wouldn’t be jumping on any feature tracks for now, he would only feature on songs if he is paid a fee of N1m.

We’re not ready to do that and even if we want to do that, the fee is very high…It’s one million naira for now‘, Rachael told NET over the phone add that the fee might go up as early as in a month’s time.

What critics say:

_ On a more serious note; Tuface Idibia and Ruggedman had featured in more songs than any Nigerian Hip Hop artist. These two had featured on songs by both Upcoming and established acts. They have also featured upcoming acts on their albums more than any Nigerian artist. Was there any payments made to them or rather pure motivation and giving back?

_ Is this the best Olamide and his management got to offer the Industry?

_ I guess the success is getting into Olamide’s head.

_ Olamide should remember that its not all about the money. One day he will need the hottest artists too to revive his career because that is the way music is. Go to the USA na beyond………………..thats just the way it is.

_ Now i wish he is sued for using the original beat on Voice Of the street without authorization.

Eaaasssyyyy!!!!!  Wow! wow!! na so all of una harsh reach? I believe its business isn’t it? Okay, if you think otherwise or against these comments stated above from critics we caught up with at Konk Naija……………………..
