Believe it or not very soon we gonna have it hotter in the Nigerian Music industry between Yoruba rappers and Igbo rappers. We at Konk Naija Music are loving every bit of the action. Nigeria is really blessed.

We can remember way back having most of Naija’s rappers do Yoruba and pidgin lyrics with just a little feel of Hausa and Igbo. We can also remember N*gga Raw coming out with a flash of Igbo lines and hooks………..he pushed it to the limit alongside other colleagues but all of a sudden we heard nothing more. The likes of Ruggedman, ill Bliss, Ikechukwu and Tshortz also did magically and brilliantly well with few Igbo hooks and flows.

Breaking News: We have not seen it as hot as this in the past years. The likes of iLL Bliss, Phyno, Ikechukwu, Uzi, Lynxx, Veeko Kyngz are coming on stronger than we have ever imagined.

Coming downtown West we have the Yoruba guys doing what they know how to do best with the Yoruba lyrical damages. The likes of Kash 11, Reminisce, Olamide, Late Dagrin and colleagues are burning the mics and stages too.

Recently we had Phyno and Olamide doing it Ghost Mode stylee. Dope lyrical content and beautiful video too. The question is; ARE WE EXPECTING AN EAST COAST Vs WEST COAST thingy in few months? Well our advise is; REP YOUR HOOD, DO GOOD MUSIC AND MAKE US SMILE. Big up guys!!!
