Naiwo Olamide whose stage name is Holly & nick name ‘Head Master is the second from the Family of eight {8} and a native of Ogun State, Ijebu-Igbo to be precise.

He talked to KONK NAIJA MUSIC about himself and his music career. Read below:

I was born October 7th. Music has always been a part of me since my child hood even though Fuji was my best then. but I then jumped into Hip-Hop Music .

While in Secondary School in 2003,  I formed a Group called ’7 Stars’ with some of my school mates & I was the group leader. It was really challenging for us to make everything work out musically then but as it said in the Bible that heaven helps those who help themselves.

I started as a singer then but later jumped into Rap in 2005 which I never believed I had the potential & energy even though I had no demo. I released my first single in the year 2008 titled GO MENTAL featuring O’Black & Freezy.

My first hot show was ‘Shanbi Day’ held in Ilishan, Ogun State on the first Saturday Of October, 2009 which I performed alongside ; The Late Dagrin, Side One, Durella, Katie hel and others.

I released my second single, a very inspirational song titled ‘A SI MA JAIYE’ in December 2009 which featured Zeeworld. I came up with the third single, a hard core rap single titled MY LIFE in d year 2010 & The Remix came up in 2011.

My fifth & sixth singles dropped in 2012 last year titled; FEELING D BOI & UNBEATABLE which is now receiving massive promo on Radio Stations & Alaba. I just got a new hit again titled; ALL ABOUT MY RICHES which had been published on several Blogs & will be on radio pretty soon. Hopefully the video will be shot soon too..

Music is my life & my only option. My hobbies are Singing, Rapping, Playing football, Reading, Dancing, hanging out.

Holly is a Christian. My Mum is my Role Model & I will never joke with her because she has always been my back bone.

I wouldn’t say Lil’ Wayne is my mentor but I so much like him & respect his music. I love virtually all the artists in the world so far you are performing well.
