Umukoro popularly known as Efe Lopez or Dr Lopez is a Graduate of Fine and Applied Arts from Delta State University.

Dr Lopez is a Nigerian from the Niger Delta Region (an Urhobo to be precise) in his mid twenties who does R&B, Funk, Hip Hop and Afro beat. He is not only a performing artist but a song writer and a graphic artist. He is also a professional photographer with notable clients such as May D, Aisha Shaba, Uti, Fragrance Kayoh, IK (Big Brother Africa Host) and many more celebrities, VJs, Radio Presenters, Models, private  individuals and corporate organisations such as Cleen Foundation, IGI,  Trucontact.

In July 2012 he dropped his first single titled Mr Deejay released under Duchesspr Records (UK) for Konk Naija Music (Nigeria) which enjoyed a lot of online and Radio presence in Nigeria, Tanzania, South Africa, Angola, Ghana and amongst Nigerians in diaspora. Mr Deejay according to him was dedicated to all Nigerian Djs all over the world appreciating them for supporting and promoting quality Nigerian Music.

Why “Run Thingz” as a song title? Dr Lopez explains; “Run Thingz is no doubt a motivation for everybody aspiring to live a good life, worked so hard and hoping to cater for his/her loved ones be it family, girlfriend, spouse and so on. The music is all about guys who really wants to have quality and exotic life with their girls. We all want to be spoilt and cared for one time or the other”.
