Na wa for this our country ooh, with the mass poverty and unemployment rates; top officials in this country still have the mind to waste enormous sums on unnecessary wants and luxuries.

There have been mass criticisms concerning Mariah Carey’s short visit to Nigeria for the Access Bank end of the year party.

Sources have come forward to state that Mariah Carey’s trip to Nigeria cost Access Bank around the sum of N200million.

The sum is particularly extravagant, considering that the bank had just recently laid off 200 staff.

The bank also laid off about 980 staff in 2011 through SMS. Airtel Nigeria also tried laying off on October 1, 2011 via SMS but backfired as affected staff took to the streets of Abuja, shut down the Abuja and Lagos servers until issue resolved by the intervention of NLC. MTN Nigeria is also currently laying off across all departments as at 17th November 2013 due to loss of revenue as informed by CEO but can pay Davido, Kcee, Chidinma and co N36m each yearly as ambassadors. Abi na GLO we wan talk?  Ask the Telcos and Acess Bank how much they pay their Customer Service staff; from N30,000 to N60,000. Na real wa……………..
