In 2013 Ivan played a leading role as Troy in the teen movie “You & Me.” In the same year, Ivan Ellis opened for LeToya Luckett at the historic Howard Theatre in Washington DC; Ivan Ellis has also shared the stage with major headliners such as Brandy, Tweet, Syleena Johnson, Amerie, and Raheem DeVaughn.

In 2014 Ivan Ellis landed two prime-time principle roles the first as Vic on episode 207 of NBC hit series Chicago PD. The second major role was when he was casted as Royale-T on the hit show EMPIRE in the same year.
