It’s no longer news that GospelNaija, one of Nigeria’s finest wholesome and Christian entertainment platform has been working on her online radio. This rumour has now been confirmed a reality. What better season is there to signal the beginning of greater things in the Nigerian Gospel industry than Easter, a season set aside to remember the greatest sacrifice of Love our God made to mankind.  Next Monday which happens to be Easter Monday, 6th of April 2015; GospelNaija, Nigeria’s household name for Christian Entertainment & Lifestyle will be launching her Internet Radio – G-Naija Radio.

 

There are quite a number of online radios in Nigeria or of Nigerian orientation at the most, a fair amount of Gospel based ones, so what will be different or unique about G-Naija Radio. Speaking on this, Oyez, a prolific entertainer, promoter of the Nigerian heritage and the team leader of GospelNaija simply says;

‘Other brands seem to go too mainstream or “Urban” as they like to call it so their platform is kind of designed for a particular class of audience. G-Naija Radio and especially GospelNaija has always been the cut-across brand. We seek to incorporate everybody, every social class, from the urban to the grassroots…we believe the internet or perhaps exposure is for everyone…so everyone especially the up-and-coming- not-so-urban is welcomed.’

 

Another angle which G-Naija Radio seeks to stand out is through the thorough participation of the audience (listeners). One of the flagship programmes on the radio would be a programme tagged ‘#RadioActive’ which is more about the opinions of listeners. Other programmes include Uninterrupted wholesome Music, Comedy, Interviews, Reviews, Discussions, Vox Pop, Chart Shows, Motivational, Devotional, Sermons, Lifestyle, Educational and lots more. It promises to never be a dull moment.
