Former Attorney General Decamps To The APC

Ahead of the April 11 governorship polls the All Progressives Congress ( APC ),  has been receiving a massive influx of political heavyweights from the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ) in Benue state. 

Per Second News gathered that many aides and staunch supporters of the state governor,  Gabriel Suswam,  have been decamping to the APC after the presidential elections.  The trend started with the exodus of Suswam’s former Chief Security Adviser,  Col. Basil Kwembeh,  has since dragged in other big fish like Col. Lawrence Onoja,  David Mark’s long time adversary. 

Per Second News reliably gathered Monday that former attorney general of the federation, Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, SAN also resigned his membership of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Aondoakaa who also contested the primaries of the PDP for governorship but lost, made this known in a letter to his ward chairman of the PDP, where he directed that his name be deleted from the Party register in Lessel Township Ward.

Chief Aondoakaa, SAN said he came to this important decision after due consultation with his family, friends and political associates. That in the mean time he will focus and concentrate on his legal practice to enable him reorganise his law firm.
