I love Lagos….  and entertainment and one of the best parts of this is when I get to meet with nice folk…. I stopped by Darootz entertainment and had a five minute chat over some chicken and juice…and here’s what he had to say…

Who are you and where in the world are you primarily based and where are you located right now?

 

My Name is Mustapha  Adams Odeyemi and I am CEO of Darootz Entertainment; I am also a native of Offa, Kwara state. I work and live in Lagos, somewhere in Beckley estate Abule Egba.

What do you do, how would you describe your presence in the industry, what’s your mission?

I am a show/artist promoter of high standing reputation and professionals; we specialized in managing upcoming and established talent: Ranging from Artists, Producers, Choreographers, D’JS, Models, etc…
My presence in the industry as helped so many established and upcoming artists and still helping to show direction and promote artist from one level to next level. Our objective and mission is to use our network links and digital platforms to educate, promote, support and offer expertise advice thereby helping the talented to stay in the business and to live up their dreams an continue to deliver good entertainment.

How long have you been doing this?

Over 7 years now…

 

Notable moments in your career?

NBC sign a deal with my dj for a tour (star trek), Naija@5o independent day show (tagged I’M INDEPENDENT), co-organize Miss Osun 2010, organize yearly Bell and bell Jamz.

 

What’s the best and worst part of what you do?

The best part is doing your job and getting paid for it and the worst part is when we work with artists and talents who either don’t pay and or lie about the quality of service you deliver to avoid payment and  those who fail to fulfil contracts and sometimes being victim of betrayal by some cockroaches in industry

A little about you?

Mustapha Adams Oyeyemi, I was born on the 5th July 1980 and I have always reached for the stars. I attribute my inspiration to the encouragement of my immediate close knit family consisting of my parents, three elder brothers, three younger brothers and two younger sisters.
From when I was about 4 years old I attending ARMY Children School, 44 barrack in Kaduna State to Offa Grammar School in Kwara state, and later completed my secondary school education in Ansar-u-deen Islamic high School, Ipee also in Kwara state Nigeria, due to my brilliant and excellent contribution to all social activities in my school, I was the school social prefect. It was obvious I was destined for showbiz.

Education is an important part of our cultural upbringing, we are encouraged to specialise and study in wholesome subjects and I am thankful that I went to Federal polytechnic for my ND, and I graduated from Federal University of technology Minna, Niger state with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2008.
I am blessed with beautiful wife and charming Baby girl, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.
I have also won a few street and campus awards.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years

Oh! Top of my Game,  insha Allah (by God grace)

 

What do you do for relaxing/fun/chilling out?

Listening to good music and hanging-out with friends.

 

What advice do you have for others inspired by you?

The you, you see is the you, you will be. So have a clear vision and strong mission to see your dream come real.  Also don’t forget to put Allah (GOD) first, because the roads sometimes get cloudy and tough.

To my fans you are the real Darootz entertainment we are just your chief servant that’s the reason we are giving you exactly what you want. Hater, I have just one advice for you: keep hating us only poor people hate. Critics, we appreciate you for all your concern.
