ASUP Strike continues as polytechnic lecturers meeting with Nigerian government deadlock
The ongoing nationwide strike by polytechnic lecturers is set to continue as a meeting, Monday, between the lecturers and the federal government ended in a deadlock.
The lecturers have been on strike since October 1 demanding among others better working condition, infrastructure improvement, and an end to discrimination of polytechnic graduates.
The National Publicity Secretary of ASUP, Clement Chirman, who confirmed the deadlock to PREMIUM TIMES, said the Federal Government’s delegation was led to the Abuja meeting by the Minister of Labour, Chukwuemeka Wogu.
